Kerala Style Chicken Stew
Ingredients
- • 250g chicken breast, cubed
- • 1 cup thin coconut milk
- • 1/2 cup thick coconut milk
- • 1 medium potato, cubed
- • 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
- • 1 small onion, sliced
- • 1 sprig curry leaves
- • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- • 1 tbsp coconut oil
Cooking Steps

Heat oil in pressure cooker, sauté onions, ginger-garlic, and curry leaves.

Add chicken and potatoes, sauté for 3 minutes.

Add thin coconut milk and pepper, pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Release pressure, stir in thick coconut milk, simmer for 2 minutes without boiling, and serve.

Ingredients
- • 200g button mushrooms, halved
- • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
- • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- • 1 tbsp oil
